UPDATE FROM THE INTEGRATION STEERING COMMITTEE
In May 2017, the Integration Steering Committee with members from Scarborough Centre for Healthy Communities (SCHC) and TransCare® Community Support Services (TransCare®) engaged Lough Barnes Consulting Group (LGCG), an independent consulting firm, to assess the integration opportunities between SCHC and TransCare®. The aim of this exercise is to find opportunities for the two organizations to work more closely toward their common goals and continue to serve the community with high quality, responsive and innovative programs.
LBCG will undertake a process of assessing the opportunity, costs, and benefits of integration options through the development of a Business Case. The consultants will examine SCHC and TransCare's documents and data, and engage internal and external stakeholders in focus groups and on-to-one interviews to review and assess the benefits, risks, and opportunities of integration options. LBCG will deliver a report to the Integration Steering Committee in late July, to aid in the organization's assessment of whether to proceed.
If you have any questions about the work, please contact Jeanie Joaquin (SCHC) at firstname.lastname@example.org or Odette Maharaj (TransCare®) Odette.email@example.com.
